Thanksgiving dinner was great! Added plus ... there are enough leftovers for a couple of days. Today went shopping. It's like the stores have been holding their collective breath but now that Thanksgiving is officially over they can let it all hang out for Christmas. We hit the small local shops where it wasn't so crowded and they had free hot cider, cookies, and popcorn to put you in the buying mood (and keep you in the store a little longer). It worked 'cause we loaded up the car w/ purchases. I'm almost done w/ Christmas shopping and am hoping to experiment w/ some fun ideas like making bowls out of ice and serving salad in them. As long as I don't run into slow eaters, I think it might work.
