Milkweed

I'm getting sick of all of the political commercials already and we still have about a month to go before the election.  In my state, each side is saying truly outlandish things about the other candidate - some based wholly on unsubstantiated claims.  Everyone is for 'a chicken in every pot' but absolutely no one has mentioned how they would accomplish this prosperity  - especially when every country in the world seems headed for some recession.  I'd like to have a limit to how long candidates can advertise and a limit to how much they can spend.  Think there are have been multiple attempts to legislate that already but when you have legislators making rules about themselves it's like having the fox build the hen house - they'll have backdoors everywhere.  On commercials their warnings 'the sky is falling' dire until the very end where the candidate stands like the cock of the walk to say they authorized this commercial.  I think I've laid an egg w/ this blog entry and I should just fly the coop  for now.   I'm stuck in a chicken idiom loop and it's getting worse.
