Apples

Picking the name King Charles III surprised me.    My understanding was he could pick from any of his four given names: Charles, Arthur, Philip, or George.  Picking Charles invokes thoughts of the first King Charles who was beheaded or his son Charles II who acknowledged a dozen mistresses.   I kinda like the idea if Chuck had chosen King Arthur but suppose that would have opened him up to comments  like where does he keep his round table and will Camilla be changing her name to Guinevere.  There have been lots of King Georges - six todate.  Of course, there is the little issue of us fighting a war of Independence while the third one was in office.  That leaves King Philip.  Don't think there has been one of those in England and it would be a nice nod to his father's name.  Of course, no one asked my opinion.
