Red, White, and Blue Fireworks

Town's monthly Planning Commission meeting tonight.  We had four permits to consider.  The first had no paperwork submitted.  The people were just asking if they wanted to turn their cabin into an AirB&B what would the town require.  Some members had checked out the site and thought the driveway wasn't wide enough for RV's, cars w/ trailers, etc.  Plus according to our zoning ordinance they would need a permit form the County Public Health department.  Occupancy was limited to 2 (plus 2) per bedroom.  Mark said he would contact the owners and let them kmow what we had discussed.  The second permit was for a trailer park.  I knew the area.  We thought it was a bit on the marshy side.  I looked through our ordinance on trailer parks and asked where the central showers, water, and washing area would be located.  Also, that the driveway and central driving areas needed to be a hard surface.  Rodger said he would talk to the requestor since he hadn't provided a drawing of the proposed site map.  The next two permits were no brainers.  One was for a storage shed and the paperwork was complete.  The second was for a home and they not only filled out our paperwork but included a floor plan, sketched outside view, topography map, and hydrology map.  That much thought put into a building site was an easy OK from everyone.  As for the upgrade to the Town's Comprehensive Plan.  Still waiting on 2020 census data to complete most chapters.  Fortunately, my section didn't need census data so I let the group know it was completed and a draft was on the website.  They could give me feedback immediately.  Let's see if anyone notices the imbedded sentence about stretching and getting up for a coffee before continuing to read.
