Lightning and Fireworks

This is a picture from my cousin Paul.  Some pretty tall cumulus clouds passed to the south and turned red in the sun's last rays.  Then they became unstable and started discharging lightning just as brother Brent and cousin Rick started shooting off fireworks. This is the view from my deck - kind of a 'dueling banjos' between the clouds and our pyrotechnics.  (P.S.  See if you can find Brent and Rick standing near the launch site.)

Thanks for posting Sue! They look pretty small compared to that fireworks stream. I have another sunrise shot from Saturday morning if you would like to use it. Thanks again for having us over.
