Fireworks

 

Picked up my mail and there was an actual letter for me.  It was from a member of a local Jehovah Witness church.  Before Covid, a couple of members had stopped at the house.  I explained I attended a different church so we talked briefly about general stuff, prayed, and they were on their way.  They had asked for my address and I'd given it to them.  When the pandemic hit, the church wisely decided to curtail their visits.  In lieu of that, I get a hand written one-page letter about once a year.   They hope I'm doing OK, refer to a passage of scripture, and end it w/ an invite to a church service.   I rather like their new manner of 'visiting'.  Maybe this will be one of those positive changes caused by the pandemic.
