Another beautiful day in the Northwoods. Whip and I worked around outside most of the day. Tonight I switched the TV between Svengoolie's 'The Devil's Rain' and a PBS presentation of 'Christmas in Connetticut' (the original). I wasn't in the mood for either but the juxtaposition of them was rather interesting. One was a horror film - the other a light comedy. One was rather well acted - the other had actors chewing the scenery. One had clothes designed by the exemplary Edith Head - the other's actors mostly wore robes w/ rope ties. One was in black and white - the other in color. Interesting to watch both at the same time but not something I'd recommend.
