Red-Winged Blackbird trilling

After breakfast, I sat down at the computer to go over my taxes again.  Seemed there was nothing else to add so I printed them out, signed & dated the forms, attached the other required documents, and made out checks - one to the Feds and one to the state.  Taxes aren't due yet for another week but might as well send them in now and not risk forgetting or being unable to get to the post office because of illness or whatever.  Took them in to the Post Mistress to ensure proper postage and get a receipt.   Bopped over to the bank to move enough money into checking to cover the checks I just mailed out.   Did some more errands but before going home took a side trip down Main Street.  I've been doing that since the holidays last year when the cafe closed.  The reason for it's not opening has been the subject of local gossip.  Ooh-Hoo.  The sign in the window had been switched to OPEN!  If one of those errands I had just finished wasn't picking up lunch, I would have stopped in.
