Friend Nancy and I hadn't gotten together since Covid except for breakfast-church and for the GNO Christmas celebration. Today we both had nothing on our schedules so she came over at 11 a.m. We went downtown to try out the old-cafe-under-new-management. The new owner was right in getting booths - turns out they did transform the space. Food was very good. Afterward we stopped at the library to drop off a book Nancy needed to return. Then to the post office so I could pick up mail. Bopped over to the next village to stop in at The Toad House for coffee and dessert. Back to my place where Nancy checked out Sleipnir and Jormungandr. We ended up the afternoon by perusing through an operator's manual. Who says older people don't know how to have fun?
