A Rafter of Turkey

Excerpts from the Sheriff's Report:

2:53 a.m. - Welfare check for a woman screaming and a bad odor.

8:18 a.m. - Officer assisted a motorist in catching a dog.

9:04 a.m. - Trespassing by hunters and their trailers.

9:55 a.m. - Report of a lot of cows on the snowmobile trail.

12:15 p.m. - Rusk County Public Health requesting a deputy at a residence for a public health threat.

1:30 p.m. - Report of a muskrat in a yard.  Caller was told to leave the muskrat alone and to let it on it's way.

2:49 p.m. - Combative 75-year old woman jumped out of a vehicle.

3:09 p.m. - Welfare check requested for an employee who hasn't shown up for work.

3:53 p.m. - Report of a large amount of black smoke.  Determined it was a controlled fire of illegal items.

4:56 p.m. - Suspicious big guy staring at a citizen

5:15 p.m. - Harassment by way of threatening to kill someone over a boy.

6:00 p.m. - Report to have a wife removed from a residence.

6:19 p.m. - 911 call by someone testing their phone.

9:36 p.m. - Suspicious woman knocking on windows looking for her baby daddy reported at Middle High School.
