I was determined to wrap and send out the children's presents today. The cats were just as determined to help me w/ the task. I let Whip in the house and let the animals 'entertain' themselves. Got that task done and went to the post office to send them out. A blizzard was forecast for the afternoon but it hadn't started to snow yet so I picked up Chinese take-out and more Scotch tape. My sister-in-law had said last year that the pandemic was kinda her fault since she had prayed for some time to herself so she could clean out her sewing room. In a similar way I felt a little guilty about the upcoming storm which will shut down the area until it blows itself out. I had prayed for time to get Christmas cards out, some baking done, and finish switching out autumn decorations for winter ones. Never underestimate the power of prayer.
