Canadian Geese heading out

Bopped over to the clinic for my Covid booster this afternoon.  To be honest, I'm not convinced that I need a booster shot.  The booster has been OK'ed for those over 65 and while I'm over that, I don't really feel elderly.  I call myself  'old' but it hasn't really sunk in (except maybe when I'm getting up from sitting on the floor).   Then the effacacy of the vaccine wears away over time but Moderna is still over 70% effective after a year, However, Colin Powell came to mind - a reminder that Covid isn't anything to mess with.  It's also a chance to get a shot which is always a plus for me.  That the shot comes free is like icing on a cake.

Addendum:  I was handed a sheet of possible side affects from getting a shot.  Others I know have said they felt ill or had a headache later.  As of 18 hours post-shot the only affect has been Dunder insistant to sniff the bandaid the nurse put over the injection site.
