Pumpkin and Sweet Potato Vine

Now that I've upgraded to a smartphone I can play Words w/ Friends (WWF) again w/ my sister.  Added in games w/ one or sometimes two of my nieces.  Sister Connie and I decided Brother Brent should join in so Connie sent him all of the info today and we have started playing w/ him also.   I hated Scrabble when I was younger but in WWF it doesn't matter that my spelling ability is atrocious.  The game won't allow playing  misspelled words.  I am puzzled though why the Greek mythological character IO and the Egyptian word for a person's soul KA are OK but other mythological names are not.  The game allows some words I would never say out loud but won't allow other words that are perfectly valid (just sometimes are used by bullies in a derogatory manner).    I can understand why I sometimes only have vowel tiles to work w/ (or only consonants) - that's the luck of the draw.  There is one idiosynchrasy of the game that I'm still researching.  Why do I get so many 'I's?  Multiple games I've had four of them staring back at me only to be dealt even more.  (Note:  Don't know why I'm complaining.  I've used an 'I' in a word over 20 times in just this short blog entry.)
