Sleipnir's New Garage Door

Garage door for Sleipnir was installed today.  It had been ordered early in the year when the project began but, because of a mixup in the order, it wasn't expected until August.  (Covid causing slowdowns at manufacturing didn't help either.)  The garage door supplier agreed to installing a temporary door until the correct one arrived.  I'd also ordered a new garage door for Haven at the same time.  The new door would match the ones on Mjolnir and Sleipner, let  more light into the garage, and be better insulated.  I haven't been satisfied w/ the insulation on the existing door especially after seeing how well the door on Mjolnir keeps the warmth in.  Builder Mike called yesterday to ask if I'd be around today.  Both doors were here and were ready to be installed.  The installer arrived before 7:30 a.m. and got to work.   The insulated door on Sleipnir looks nice but the light coming into Haven's garage area is phenomenal!  Got out the instructional manual for the car and programmed both Sleipnir's & Mjolnir's garage door opener codes into it's system.  I can now open any one of the garages w/ a push of a button inside the car.  One of life's little moments of joy.
