Brent had an idea for a jigsaw puzzle board. The bottom sits on a Lazy Susan (yeah, I know). The top has four completely removable drawers. There is a locking mechanism on each one if you decide you want to move the whole board to another spot. The top is smooth w/ a slightly raised edge to keep pieces from falling off. I really like being able to see the puzzle from different angles by just spinning it on it's base. The raised edge works well for helping build the border. When separating out the puzzle pieces, I used each drawer for a different color which was useful when looking for missing edge pieces. The puzzle I'm putting together here is 1000 pieces so the board can handle most jigsaws. As usual I think Brent enjoyed the creating as much as the finished product. He decided to build it out of bits and pieces left over from other projects. When I balked at his idea for slim drawer pulls, he lathed wooden knobs. Pretty crafty.
