On the way home from doing errands this morning, I turned onto the county road that goes past my house and said an audible "Wow". The landscape looked like a painted picture: blue-blue skies filled w/ fluffy white clouds, bright green fields stretching out to distant trees, soft hills beyond that outlined in pale blue. Coupled w/ our 70 degree weather and a strong breeze makes the Northwoods the place to be.
The guys showed up at 6:30 on the dot this morning and got to work. I hadn't realized how far down the windows I'd ordered would come. I talked w/ Mike the builder about using folding tables for wintering over plants. Has the advantage of being able to fold the tables up for storage or using them for other purposes during the summer. The large windows will maximize the amount of winter sun the plants can receive. This is working out even better than I thought.
