Wild Strawberry Blossoms (and a friend)

I bopped down to the library about opening time.  When I locked up last night after library duty, I realized I'd left the audiobook I was reading in the worst place possible - atop the cartons of books to be picked up by the courier this morning.  I couldn't get back into the library so I taped a note to the front door asking the courier to leave my book in the library.   As I hoped it was waiting for me at the front desk.  The librarian though didn't understand what had happened and chided me for not putting the book inside the carton.  So I had to explain what happened and that the courier had done exactly as I had requested.    Since I was downtown anyway decided to wash my winter quilt.  It's king size and doesn't really fit in my washer.  I stopped in at the new laundromat.  It's been quite awhile since I've used a laundromat and have never been in this one.  Thankfully a very helpful couple was there waiting for their wash to dry.  They showed me where the big washers were, where to put in the soap, where to put in the coins.  I felt pretty stupid and considered reassuring them that I had made it through high school but then decided it might not reflect well on the school.  Made it through washing and a quick tumble dry.  Then brought the quilt home to finish drying on the clothes line.  A rather ignominious beginning to what turned out to be a glorious day.
