Excerpts from the Sheriff's Report:

7:40 a.m. - Report of a citizen unable to talk her sister out of sending money to a scammer in Texas.

8:55 a.m. - A furnace stopped working reported.

9:20 a.m. - Report of a school board member not scheduling a special meeting at the School.

10:40 a.m. - Accident reported in parking lot of Walmart.  Determined damage happened elsewhere.

12:34 p.m. - Report of a man walking along the road with a long gun.  Determined man was hunting rabbits and was warned about hunting from the road.

1:45 p.m. - Trespassing by people running hounds on a citizen's property.

2:56 p.m. - Officer assistance requested to place VIN numbers on homemade trailers.

3:30 p.m. - 911 hang up call.  Determined a juvenile kicked another while cleaning.

3:52 p.m. - Report of someone plowing a driveway.

4:25 p.m. - Request to have an officer contact a citizen regarding car trouble.

5:02 p.m. - Report of a Trailblazer on a snowmobile trail.

6:30 p.m. - Report of snow being plowed close to a vehicle.

7:00 p.m. - Welfare check for boyfriend not answering his phone.

7:13 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle reported.  Determined neighbors were helping an elderly citizen with engine problems.

9:13 p.m. - Suspicious person dressed in black and walking on the side of the road.  Person was given a ride into town.

9:53 p.m. - Flames reported to be coming from the exterior heating units on a business.  Determined to be a normal presence.

11:29 p.m. - Paranoid person concerned about accepting multiple friend requests on social media.

11:47 p.m. - Report of someone not feeling safe at a safehouse.
