Sunrise - November 22

4 days to go.

The Inauguration hasn't occurred yet but it's already time to start preparing for the next election.   My area will have a primary February 16th.  (The new county clerk sent out an e-mail announcing it would be February 6th. Figured since that was a Saturday, I'd better double check the date.)  There isn't that much interest in non-partisan races much less the primary for a non-partisan race so it will be a good time for us to work through procedures using the new tabulating machine.  While I prefer everyone votes, I hope people take the time to check out who is on the ballot ahead of time.  Makes the voting process go faster and would hopefully eliminate the awkward question we sometimes get: "Who should I vote for?"  While we poll workers would love to discuss our thoughts with you the day before, on election day we won't.
