First Plow of the Season

Got maybe four inches of new snow on top of the two or three inches we already had.  Enough to make walking difficult.   Whip and I went out for a constitutional but I had to wear boots.  I was working on breakfast when I heard a familiar crunch of snow and Whip started barking.  My plow guy was here!  He'd contracted Covid in November and had been pretty sick w/ it so I was especially glad to see him on the job.  I let Whip out into her run so she could bark to her heart's content.  I suppose I could get a plow attachment for my garden tractor and clean my driveway myself.  However, the idea of driving my open tractor the length of my driveway in blowing snow and cold always puts me off that thought.  Would rather stand inside my house, sipping a cup of hot coffee, and watch the cheery yellow lights of the plow guy's truck going back and forth.
