Christmas Cards

Got the long walk in early.  Temps in the 40's and I was actually sweating by the time we got back - or it might have been the rain that was just starting once we got out of the woods.  Forecast is for dropping temps so this precipitation will turn into snow by nightfall.  Had some things to do in town so jumped in the car to get them done early too.  I opened the door to my post office box and saw another Christmas card from friend Kathy.  I started receiving them last week - pretty much a card a day.  We had a Zoom meeting yesterday and I'd asked her if she was feeling OK.  She smiled knowingly and replied, "You've started getting the cards."  She reminded me that earlier in the month, as we all had discussed what to do w/ old Christmas cards, I had confessed that I sometimes put up last year's cards " 'cause then it looks like I have friends."  So she had decided to send me multiple Christmas cards this year (added touch: Star Trek stamps on them).  I've always liked Christmas cards.  Here is a picture of this year's cards - including six of which came from Kathy and her husband Stan.
