Harvested corn field

 Excerpts from the Sheriff's Report:

1:41 a.m. - Attempt to locate male and female who left a hit-and-run and then left their car on fire.

5:47 a.m. - Vehicle versus bear.  Bear scampered off.

8:00 a.m. - Report of someone sitting in a car with a flat tire.

9:07 a.m. - Hit and run involving a hay bale.  Car parts and a license plate were left behind.

10:25 a.m. - Harassment of a citizen receiving envelopes of pictures of his ex-wife, glitter, and Google maps.

12:54 p.m. - Trespassing by hunting dogs reported.  Determined the dogs' GPS collars were not trespassing.

1:58 p.m. - Trespassing via tracks in the snow.

2:20 p.m. - Report of roommates putting a spell on a citizen.  Citizen was advised to see a doctor.

3:15 p.m. - Report of a woman waving her arms at passing vehicles.

3:25 p.m. - Report of a garbage bag over a lit chimney.

4:00 p.m. - Out of control eight-year old after another child ate his Butterfinger bar.

4:40 p.m. - Report of a small child dialing 911 ten times.

5:00 p.m. - Request to have an officer tell a woman to stay away.

7:45 p.m. - Citizen wishing to speak with officer about things that upset her.

9:35 p.m. - Suspicious individuals with flashlights in a cornfield.  Determined the neighbors were tracking racoon.

10:24 p.m. - Report of a blind elderly man stranded in his truck in a parking lot.
