Excerpts from the Sheriff's Report:
12:32 a.m. - Vehicle crash involving yelling and injuries. Driver fled after crash, was found and arrested for possible OWI.
1:46 a.m. - One-vehicle rollover. Determined vehicle went into a ditch after being startled by a passing vehicle. [Maybe a horse is startled by a passing car but another car?]
1:47 a.m. - Report of a man not wanting to leave bar.
7:30 a.m. - Report of a garbage truck catching on a low hanging power line.
8:00 a.m. - Citizen being followed by a woman. Determined she was walking her dog.
9:02 a.m. - Report of a manure truck driving fast.
11 a.m. - Report of a dog on the roof of a residence.
Noon - Harassment by a 12-year old swearing at an adult in a parking lot.
12:27 p.m. - Theft of a political sign. [It's been three weeks since the election. Time to take them down anyway.]
3:04 p.m. - Trespass complaint between property owner and crop owner.
3:38 p.m. - Officer presence requested at Town Board Meeting. [Neighboring town, not mine.]
4:19 p.m. - Theft of a 500 gallon LP tank.
4:44 p.m. - Report of someone trying to visit a family member.
6:02 p.m. - Suspicious activity reported at old elementary school. Determined to be a young girl playing on the playground.
7:11 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle on the road after a loud bang. Determined to be a trailer tire blowing.
