‘Halcyon’ isn’t my favorite word but it’s right up there. The Northwoods are experiencing the halcyon days of summer. Daytime temps might reach 80 and at night they fall into the 50’s. Humidity is in the comfy range. Everything is green and lush since we’ve had sufficient rainfall. The last of the wild flowers are in bloom - goldenrod and asters. The birds are still here. Insects and the little grey frogs sing every night. God’s country for sure.

I believe there is a hosta called Halycon. You might need one. :)
