Excerpts from Sheriff's Report:
1:50 a.m. - Argument over no good reason reported.
5:10 a.m. - Red vehicle upside down in a small pond.
9:15 a.m. - Welfare check for a man running down the road and waving his arms. Determined man was out for a run.
9:27 a.m. - Theft of a vehicle and blood on a door of another vehicle.
9:28 a.m. - Report of a man test driving a vehicle but not wanting to return the keys. Officer contacted man and advised him to return keys or be cited for theft.
10 a.m. - Welfare check for a man throwing up in front of the Sheriff's office. The man said he ate something that did not agree with him.
10:30 a.m. - Welfare check for a male laying in a yard and not moving. Determined the male was tired from walking home from the store.
12:30 p.m. - Officer assistance requested at a post-funeral gathering due to family member hostility.
12:49 p.m. - Capsized canoe and family out of the water on an island in Thornapple River. Family given a ride back to their campground.
12:59 p.m. - Officer assistance requested for a survey crew. Property owner pulling a shotgun out in the past when they were in the vicinity.
3:15 p.m. - Harassment by a male attempting to fix a relationship after a hook up.
4:20 p.m. - Complaint of renters selling a property.
6:04 p.m. - Report of a minor cut on the foot after a plate was dropped.
6:10 p.m. - Attempt to steal a lawn chair.
8:21 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle pulled into parking lot after hours at business. Driver was the security guard.
8:33 p.m. - Four friends lost in the Blue Hills hiking.
9:04 p.m. - Vehicles and ATV's damaging the road reported. About 30 people ran from officers; several juveniles taken into custody and released to parents.
