First day of the Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC). Today the only bird I saw was this shrike. Suppose even little data is better than no data so I'll sign on and make my paltry entry. It was one of the colder days so far but that usually doesn't affect the birds coming to the feeders. There has just been a dearth of birds this year. Hope they just found a better place to congregate and haven't left permanently.
