2002 - Greetings from America

These stamps were reminiscent of the 30's and 40's postcards visitors would send home from the places they were visiting.  On the stamps liner release paper was printed each state's flower, bird, tree, capital, and date of statehood.  This was the 5th U.S. stamp to feature a pane of 50 different stamps and the first time a stamp was issued everywhere in the U.S. simultaneously.  First day of issue was April 4, 2002.  200 million were printed.  Scott # 3561-3610
