I have a door!

I'd talked w/ Ray at Coffee and Conversation last week about native blue stem grass.    He had a couple of patches of the stuff and said he'd bring a plug in for me.  This morning at the C&C meeting he said he'd dug up a couple of clumps and they were in his trunk. An hour later after coffee, conversation (and some of the best lemon poppy seed bread I've ever eaten) we all prepared to disperse.   Ray was checking out a book he'd found at the front desk and I was back by the far wall moving chairs back in place.   I yelled to him from across the library, "Don't forget my grass!"  That got a chuckle from those members of the group still in the area.  When I got back home the contractor walked out to my car to ask a question.  I didn't want the grass to sit in a hot car too long so I answered his question and said "I need to take care of the grass I got downtown."  He didn't say a word but walked back to his work.   I'm hoping he noticed me planting it in back of the house.
