Sunrise over piled up snow

In my estimation there shouldn't be as many deer-car accidents this time of year.  The snow is deep enough that the deer are following behind each other and keeping to the trails they make.  That means one just needs to watch the snow banks at the sides of the road to see where a trail might cross.   One such crossing is just past the old Brockman place.  (Note, putting the word 'old' in front of a place doesn't signify age as much as someone else lives there now.)  If a deer is crossing you can bet there are more waiting to cross just on the other side of the snow embankment.  There are good things about having all of this snow - but I can hardly wait 'til it's gone.
