My sister Connie painted a garden pole. It's one of the projects she does every year and they are auctioned off - proceeds going to the community. When she becomes a famous painter, my small collection of Beaman originals will be described as being from her 'early period.'The first of the weekend snowstorms came through during the night. The second bigger storm is due tonight. I noticed people aren't talking about how much snow is forecast or if services will be cancelled. Those kind of things were discussed before the last big snowstorm. Now the common question is, "Got stuff to do during the storm?"
