Excerpts from the Sheriff's Log:
3:58 a.m. - Red car struck a power pole and left the scene. Vehicle was located due to leaking fluids and officer was able to follow the trail. Driver was arrested for 3rd OWI.
8:27 a.m. - Suspicious activity of a red truck parked by a horse barn. Determined the truck was the fairier for the horses. (Interesting spelling for 'farrier'.)
9:00 a.m. - Report of a parent missing a meeting at the elementary school. (That school takes Parent-Teacher Conferences seriously.)
10:00 a.m. - Report of receiving a citizen's work schedule in the mail from a person she had had a falling out with. (Not sure I would consider this 911 worthy.)
2:45 p.m. - Citizen reporting someone was shoveling her driveway. (The audacity of some people.)
7:58 p.m. - Unknown male walking around the Law Enforcement Center video recording the squad and personal vehicles. Male advised he wanted to see what reaction he would get from officers while he was behaving suspiciously. (Am guessing he got to see that reaction up close and personal.)
8:07 p.m. - Report of a little red car swerving all over the road and almost rolling over then pulling into a snow bank and driver entering a bar. (Sounds like a 4th OWI.)
8:36 p.m. - Citizen reporting his mom won't stop calling him to take out her garbage. (Might just be easier to take the garbage out.)
