K - Knapweed

Words beginning w/ 'KN' originate in Old English.  Originally both letters were pronounced but the 'K' sound eventually was dropped around the 17th century.

Colder and windy today.  All of the walks were short.  While the weather doesn't bother Indy, it's pretty raw on my face.  The cats would go w/ us as far as the door whenever we headed outside.  Dunder likes to make a break for the freedom of the outside but even he was repulsed by the blast of cold air when I opened the door.  Blitz is intrigued by the concept of the outside but not enough to leave the warmth and safety of the house in winter.
