Leaf Peeping from the ski hill

Fall is certainly here.  Hard frost last night and this morning the ski hill was open for Leaf Peeping.  My friend Nancy picked me up and we met her husband Don at the ski hill.  Took the lift to the top to view the countryside.  From ground level there are some pretty areas but not a lot of color yet.  Looking down on the tree tops we could see how much the leaves are changing.  The picture to the left is from the start of a double black diamond ski run.  At least this time of year the path looks more like just a free fall.  On the way back down the chairlift stopped me temporarily opposite these kids riding up the hill.  They seemed pretty excited and asked if I wanted to take their picture. Couldn't decide between putting their picture or one of the countryside on the blog tonight so opted for both.
