A picture from Kathy Novey.
Went to the State Fair yesterday. Forecast was for fierce storms in the afternoon and that seemed to keep the large crowds away. Was asked what the most interesting thing we did at the Fair this year. Think it might be the artist we met at the Grandstand Building. Kathy had a coupon for money off on a tea-towel that she wanted to give to friends. Luckily it wasn't too busy and the artist Adam Turman offered to wait on Kathy himself. His aide turned out to be my neighbor's granddaughter Savannah. She not only found time to help me pick out some items but gave me a 'Friends & Family' discount. I don't pretend to like art but I did connect w/ this guy's illustrations: bold colors, lots of geometry, and Northwoods themed. Kathy was so enamored w/ the pattern on the tea-towel that she's debating keeping it for herself.

Looks like a lot of scrollwork went into that clock. Hope you got to do all the "fair" things you wanted to do.
Bet you could make a clock like this, Brent!
