A deer was hit on the road near my neighbor. He called up to say he pulled the carcass across the field to the Basswood Grove and I should watch for eagles. That was over a week ago. Guess the eagles like their meat well marinated. I haven't seen any turkey vultures come in. They've probably already left for more southern climes. The answer to the question is six (and one crow).
