Wild plums

Forecast was for 'isolated' or 'occasional' showers.  For once the weatherperson was spot on.  The morning was windy and sometimes even sunny.  I put out clothes on the line to dry.  Around noon, Indy and I jumped in the car to go downtown to pick up my mail.  It's only three miles into town and about half way there the rain started.  I had to use my wipers to see.  Half way home the rain stopped.  The pavement was dry.  I checked the clothes on the line and they were dry too.  I took them off the line.   Good thing since fifteen minutes later the rain started here.  For the rest of the day it's been off and on rain.  It would stop long enough for me to go outside to get one chore done - fill up the hummingbird feeders, take garbage out, pick daylilies, etc. - before the rain would start again.  Rather than carp about the weather, best to work w/ it.
