Is there any wonder that everyone in the county looks forward to when the weekly paper comes out? When I first came back here to live the game was to see how many typos, spelling, articles "continued on page A3" but were never continued anywhere, and other errors you could find. Then the paper started printing portions of the Sheriff's dispatch log which read like the funny papers w/ people calling in for all sorts of crazy things. (OK, that's also a little scary since there aren't that many people that live here in the first place.) Now we have fun trying to figure out the news articles. I was talking to a man at the library tonight and we were both wondering where the new restaurant is in town. Last weeks paper had a big article written about it but never once mentioned where the restaurant is located. I've read other articles where I'm two paragraphs in before the subject of the item is even mentioned. Guess our paper is following the national trend of putting their reader's enjoyment above reporting facts.
