I only had one tick on me when I walked the long trail through the swamp last Wednesday. Hoped that meant that the tick population was finally in their usual summer hiatus. Tonight's walk was just through the cut through the forest, then along the edge of the forest and back up through the woods. Picked off 23 ticks when I got home. While not the most ticks I've had on me this summer, the ticks certainly haven't yet gone "on vacation."
