I'm still trying to get back into my usual routine. Taking walks w/ Indy is helping. We found this nest of turkey eggs off one of the paths. Was impressed w/ the symmetry she placed her seven eggs in the nest. After the walk, I had less than an hour to get that library book turned back in (the murderer was the bride) so Indy and I jumped in the car. Once home again I thought I'd better do a tick test and found two. Tonight we'll probably have another freeze. The turkey eggs should remain toasty w/ mom sitting on them. I certainly hope they do well - young turkeys can eat up to 200 ticks daily.
