Not much for storms yesterday. A few showers in the afternoon and that was it. Hope it's enough to keep the blackberries forming but mitigate the number of ticks. The ticks haven't abated yet this year. I am keeping a spreadsheet on how many I pull off everyday. I'm closing in on 400 for the season and that's just the ones I remembered to enter. However, I figure if I keep a spreadsheet each year, eventually I can build a graph of the number of ticks vs. weather conditions and predict how bad the ticks will be for the upcoming year. Then I can make carbon-dioxide traps and see how many I can trap. Yes, the ticks have officially driven me nutsy again.
