Christie Mountain in the morning
Obviously I haven't yet figured out how to adjust to retirement. I had a year off between my first retirement and my next job. That was easy. I had to move to another state, sell my old house, furnish my new house - lots of stuff to learn. At the beginning of December, when I retired again, I was busy - Christmas shopping, decorating, cards to send out, etc. However, now that things have settled down, I'm having issues getting into this new time management paradigm. I realized that this morning when I was excited and full of energy - taking sunrise pictures, washing clothes, washing dishes, watering plants, bustling around the house. I've still got TGIF syndrome.

Ha! It is hard to "re-regulate" habits after years of working. I have been retired 4 years now. Finally getting used to having 6 Saturdays and 1 Sunday in the week! It does get better, once Winter is behind us, there will be lots to do.
