I've been sucked into watching "Bonanza - The Lost Episodes". Actually, most of them I haven't seen before. I was curious why they were "lost" so looked it up. There is the usual syndication of some episodes and not others so they haven't been rebroadcast as often. However, in the '80's Bonanza reruns were picked up by the Family Channel then run by Pat Robertson. He went through the already incredibly clean-cut Bonanza episodes and eliminated those he didn't feel showed "Christian values". Those are the episodes I watch for and try to figure out what was so bad about them. Recently saw one where a little boy thought a hermit was God and another where a woman might have had ESP. Censorship at it's best?
