Spider
I drove over to my friend Nancy's place so she could pick out glass for a lampshade I am making for her. First we went out to eat at Perkins. At the entrance, the man ahead of us opened the door for us, said "Beauty before Age" insisting we go ahead of him. Once seated, Nancy said, "Let's buy his lunch." Since it was her turn to pay, I thought it was a pretty good idea. We explained what we wanted to do to the waitress and she managed it all for us. After eating we decided to check out the new Hobby Lobby in town. Over to Farm and Fleet (or is it Fleet Farm?) to pick up Science Diet for my animals. We stopped off at my framer's and I asked her to frame a picture I'd bought at the art fair last week. She's the one who noticed it was printed on a foil paper which makes the colors more vibrant (knew I liked that picture!). Then off to finally get the glass. Nancy and the proprietor compared different colors until they found a combination Nancy liked. I had the pattern ready to figure out how much glass was needed. Dropped Nancy back at her place, said "Hi" to Don her husband, and drove back home. Good start to the weekend.
