Took a day off and went to the zoo. It's a small zoo w/ only animals that live or used to live in the area - coyotes, bobcat, lynx, hawks, eagles, badgers, etc. The animals in this zoo tend to be those that had to be rehabilitated because they were found injured and just couldn't be returned to the wild. Care for the animals is fairly easy since they are already acclimated to our Northwoods weather and it's great for us visitors to see animals closeup that we usually only see from a distance if at all. Added bonus - a pretty day to be out and about.
