Another scientific study (this one published in PLOS One) states that cats don't need their human owners. There seems to be a study on this same subject matter published every year and they all find the same thing: our pet cats don't care about us except as an easy source of food & warmth and a convenient launch pad. I don't agree. While that's mostly true, Ori will sit next to me while I work, purring away, and drooling. Come on. If drool doesn't prove love, I don't know what would.
