Hedge bindweed and an Inchworm

Breakfast and church w/ my friend, Nancy. Since she and her husband have moved back into their house now and most of the outside construction has been finished, I figured it was safe to bring her plant back to her. Nancy had planned on trying to overwinter her large outside potted fern last fall. However, in September their house was gutted by fire. She asked me if I would keep the plant. My only experience w/ ferns are the ones growing in the woods. I knew they should be misted periodically but not over watered, some sun but not too much, kept warm enough. Even so, I wouldn't have been too concerned but Nancy didn't refer to the plant as "the fern" but as "Fern" and often asked how it was doing. Today it's back home again and still green. Hopefully that means it's alive. Ferns aren't the most expressive of plants.
