Hazelnuts

I had a little fun at w/ Aunt June when I went to visit her. We had coffee on the patio and I filled her in on world and political news. I know she doesn't understand it anymore but I think she likes someone talking to her as if she did. Then we checked out all of the other areas of the Nursing Home before I got her back to her ward's dining room in time for brunch. I wheeled her into her position at the table and an aide put a bowl of oatmeal in front of her. Aunt June doesn't like oatmeal and told me she didn't want anymore after I gave her the first spoonful. OK - maybe I shouldn't have done it but I scooped up another spoonful of oatmeal and said aloud, "Aunt June, what are you going to say the next time you hear Donald Trump's name?" I then put the spoon to her lips and she uttered a loud "UGH". "Right!" I replied. Gave the aides a laugh anyway.
