Don't get me wrong,today was a beautiful day and life is good. However, things can't always be perfect. Brent and I checked the bird houses this afternoon. Found one house down, an adult bird dead and the hatchlings gone. I'm not entirely sure what happened but Brent and I moved the houses to a spot closer to the road in case it was a bear. A few bird houses later, another bird house was down. This one was definitely done by a bear. We picked up that pair of houses and will find a new spot for them. To top things off, I found out today that the herdsman won't be leaving the dairy. Well, whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
