Trout Lily

As I've said before, the Sheriff's Dispatch Log has become the first article I read in the local paper, overtaking the Obits.
  • 2:10 p.m. Electric Company employee advised that when he went to check on a meter that wasn't reading, he found it covered w/ tin foil and a note "Do not touch under penalty of law".  The owner said the meter was releasing dangerous emissions so she had to cover it. Officers told her to remove the tinfoil.
  • 12:50 p.m. Caller requested extra patrol by their home because they would be away at the doctor's office until late afternoon.
  • 10:29 p.m. Caller said an FBI message popped up on her computer screen and she couldn't get it off.  Then a male called stating he knew where she lived.  Officer advised to have her computer cleaned of viruses and to call back if she is contacted again.
Each entry - a tiny bit of prose - telling a short story and leaving the rest to your imagination.  Gotta love it.

Wouldn't you just love to have the freedom to say to some people, "You're off your rocker. You know that, don't you?"
