Called up my neighbor last Friday and said I wanted to talk fences. I thought the fence between our two fields should come out. To determine who owns a fence, you theoretically stand half-way along the length of the property line you share w/ your neighbor and face his property. That part of the fence to your right is yours to maintain. All of this portion of the fence is his, however I offered to pay for 1/2 of the disposal. We agreed on leaving some fence posts to delineate the line between the properties. There are advantages to both of us in getting rid of the fence though it did mean I needed to move two bird houses I had on the fence line. Indy and I finished that chore this afternoon so we are ready for demolition.
